I mostly brew with a Hario Switch, though I experiment with espresso. My favorite roaster is Black and White. My favorite coffee ever was a Cerro Azul Gesha by Code Black.

I have been trying different subscriptions to taste great coffee since 2019. First Trade, then I lived near a Fellow store, then I would buy bags directly from different roasters. Now I subscribe to Black and White.
I recently started brewing 10g half cups to try more coffee, and looked again for a bean tasting subscription. No one does it. Probably because repackaging is a pain in the ass, and the extra cost makes it more expensive and less profitable than regular subscriptions.
For me, 60g is enough for 6 half cups (enough to dial in the brew and taste), and allows 10 different tastes each month. This means more roasters, and more adventurous processes without the risk of being stuck for two weeks with a weird, boozy vanilla stout flavored coffee every morning.
I wanted to try creating a sampling club, to see if anyone else is interested. My plan is to survey people every month, and to eventually create a discussion channel to figure out what people think of the beans and want to try next – including beans from great roasters outside the US. I'm also going to include standardized brew instructions to make dialing in easier. And I'm open to suggestions for other ideas.
